Family of Children

This is the first time in my life that I don’t work with children. After close to 15 years as a nanny, workshop leader, nose-wiper, educator, art project suggester, fort builder and munchkin wrangler, I do quite miss the little buggers sometimes. Which is why these photos from the 1977 book The Family of Children make me so happy– They perfectly capture how wonderful, and wonderfully weird, kids really are.
