Daytrip Society

I’ve only visited Maine once, for a quick weekend getaway while I lived in New England, but during the short visit, I quickly learned one very important lesson: Just because you want to go swimming on the Fourth of July does not mean you can do so, given that you’re visiting the Northern-most state in the lower US. Suffice it to say that the scenery was beautiful, but the Atlantic Ocean wasn’t quite cooperating with my plans.

That said, Maine seemed like a great state, and one I’d love to go back to someday. Whenever this dream trip happens, I’ll definitely be making a stop in Kennebunkport– not to see the Bush’s (sheesh!) but to check out Daytrip Society, a gorgeously curated little shop featuring design-y gifts, home goods and handmade gems.

And, as if that weren’t enough, there’s also Daytrip, Jr, with an incredible selection of gorgeous modern items for the discerning kiddo.

So who’s in? Roadtrip to Maine? Let’s go!
