Decorating Easter eggs was always one of my favorite annual projects. We always bought those kits at the grocery store that included the fizzy tablets that dissolved in water, that ridiculously unhelpful wire spoon thing and the box that converted to a drying rack when you punched out the little circles.
These days, though, Easter egg decorating has definitely grown up. There seems to be an endless supply of clever and beautiful techniques for creating lovely egg designs. Here are some of the favorites I’ve come across–
