We took a little road trip to Hammond, Indiana last weekend to check out Hammond Salvage and Resale, a spot I found out about after recently joining the Chicago Midcentury Modern Facebook group. The shop in Hammond had been posting teaser pics of some interesting finds, and I’m a sucker for the gems you can find at a small town thrift store. The visit did not disappoint.
I think the outside area was my favorite. So many hidden treasures out there!
Tons of kitchen stuff– bottles upon bottles, pots, pans, linens, dishes, and on and on.
Always wondered how they did that 40s roll thing in the back. Gotta ask my grandma about this.
Love these two little gentlemen.
I don’t really understand this card, but that didn’t stop me from bringing it home.
Secret find! I’ll post about this one soon : )
