I stumbled upon the photo below in a House Tour post on Poppytalk.
Can you tell what it is? A souvenir magnet map of the U.S. (in progress). I totally had this idea a few years ago while on a road trip through 13 states with a friend of mine, but carrying around that many magnets in my limited baggage seemed like a little much after the first couple of states. Looking at this photo though, I still love the idea. Maybe I’ll revisit it next time I hit the road.

My parents did this on our basement fridge when I was growing up! We completed just about the whole country, minus the northeast. Who needs it? 😉
