It’s always nice to find someone who’s doing one thing and doing it well. The Sky Blue etsy shop features simple and lovely painting featuring only feathers. Singles and a few collections, each painiting is unique and understated, ranging from colorful imaginary birds to the easily identifiable that look like they could’ve come straight out of the back yard.

Tattly features a who’s who of talented artists and designers whose work has been turned into hip, funny temporary tattoos. The inspiration came from the site’s creator who, while applying a terrible clip-art fake tattoo to his daughter, had one of those “There’s gotta be a better way” moments. Well, I agree, there definitely is a better way, and this is it.

The work of tattoo artist Amanda Wachob is stunning. Her painterly style is unlike any tattoos I’ve seen before, and I can imagine those wearing her work must get stopped on the street all the time. I know if I saw one of these in person, I’d definitely demand to know, “Where did you get that tattoo?!”
How cool is this design? Butterflies, hot air balloon, birdcage– such a lovely combination. Found here.
Isn’t this gorgeous? I love the Scandanavian folk art influence and all the color! So, so lovely.
